Early reviews of the first Ep very good.
The show will be make it’s debut on the 23rd of January in the UK but on Netflix and will air on Tuesdays. The first season is only 13 Eps.

As Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) tries to determine if the community can survive without the help of Black Lightning (Cress Williams), Anissa (Nafessa Williams) starts to come into her own. Meanwhile, Jefferson and Lynn (Christine Adams) try and figure out their new dynamic. Finally, Jennifer (China Anne McClain) reveals to her parents that she has been grappling with something big.
Ep 1 “Resurrection” Season 1
Really enjoyed the first Ep not dark and gritty and violent but showed how society is now when it comes violence and race it really hit home especially being a person of colour myself and having to go through all that crap.
Loved the music, action, the villains and cast were all great too. This show really has a lot of promise, as for the ending things are gonna get interesting.
