Why are some of the Sport threads no longer showing in the lists under 'View Today's Posts'?
eg. American Football, Snooker, Tennis Discussion Thread, Andy Murray, Baseball.
Your post here was made shortly after midnight, 'today' starts at midnight, so if that was when you were looking for new posts, there won't have been any in those sections.
It is now 5:30am, and there has been just one new post in the sports section since midnight, i.e. 'today', and that is correctly showing in 'View Todays Posts' for me.
With respect 'View Today's Posts' has always shown all posts in the last 24 hours, not just those since midnight.
However I am pleased to note that someone has done something to restore the example threads I mentioned to the list.
Just for information in case it may be of use to somebody.
Many forum softwares use similar syntax for 'special' operations, and mybb is no exception.

the 'action=getdaily' parameter triggers a particular part of the search script to retrieve 'Today's' posts.
This can be extended by adding an extra parameter to the end '&days=X' to retrieve X number of days posts, i.e to get the last 3 days posts :

This can be useful if you have been away a while and want to catch up with recent posts without having to wade through all the posts since your last visit
