Sorry for the delay in responding. Well what can I say? I feel blessed and humbled to win this award and I am hugely grateful to all those who voted for me .
In many ways I regard Poster of the year as a very interesting category precisely because it's criteria is on the strength of written posts where there is always a fine line to tread. I try my utmost to get the balance right but sometimes I fail.
I feel enormously proud to have won this category for a third time bearing the above in mind.
I accept this award on behalf of all my fellow nominees and share the spirit of the award with every one of you. All of you would have been worthy winners imo. That comes from the heart. 2016 for so many reasons has brought me new perspective on life and taught me just how important it is to make the most of every day.
Merry Christmas to the forum and thank you all. I am really very touched if a little embarrassed .

Congratulations to all the winners and hugs to all runners up!!
I was honoured to have been nominated for an award for the first time but do hope that everybody has appreciated my input this year and hoping being nominated may help spur me on to better things next year

Thanks to Lori for presenting the video - Played it 4 times already, and still not quite believing I actually won, lol.
When I first saw Lori on screen, 8 or 9 years ago on Party People, I never expected her to be saying my name at some point in the future, so.... yeah, that was good too.
SNIP
Lucky bastard!
Ooops, did I say that out loud?!
Congrats, Jam Da Man, and all of the other winners, too!
