Judd Trump saw off Mark Allen 6-3 so it will be Trump v Lisowski for the title.
Trump did well to rally from 3-2 down. Hopefully it goes close to the distance tonight.
Oh crumbs.
Down to a decider

.
Jack Lisowski is a ranking tournament winner for the very first time and claims The Alex Higgins Trophy with a 9-8 victory over Judd Trump.
You would have to have a heart of stone not to feel happy for him. Well done son.
I'm welling up listening to the two of them. The friendship is heartfelt.
Brothers in arms

.
Congratulations to Jack Lisowski. Chris Henry's turned him into a champion! He's such a natural talent, and so great to watch! I couldn't be happier for him.
Edit: Jack Lisowski is now eligible to play in the Champion of Champions.
It's been a harrowing year for Jack. His father passed away in March. He appears to have left his wife Jamie Livingstone for a young Brazillian woman called Isabella, who watched Jack in this tournament for the first time. She might now be expecting him to win all the time.
Given how back & forth it went, when Jack led 8-7 it could still have gone either way, so I'm glad (though not as much as him) he got it done. It reminded me of the zany NI final when Mark King beat Barry Hawkins, though I understand why they wouldn't bring that up last night.
Looks like a few unfamiliar names this week, too. Get a sense of anti-climax about this one...
Maguire KO'd yesterday; Carter today.
The Scottish Open was hit with a spate of withdrawals as the likes of Ronnie, Judd, Neil Robertson and Mark Williams all withdrew. Selby wasn't among them, and he won, Milkins also withdrew, giving Zhao Xintong a bye into the next round.
I thought Jiang Jun might be one to watch for the future, and happily he made 2 centuries as he whitewashed Hawkins 4-0. Lisowski also lost. Thepchaiya whitewashed Jackson Page. Xiao Guodong won a thriller 4-3 against Michael Holt, winning the 6th frame on the black when he levelled the scores.
There's so many interesting players down the card that it's hard to judge which are shocks in some cases. Hawkins getting whitewashed, plus Lisowski, seem like examples.
Getting very hard to tell if the upsets really are upsets. Noppon whitewashed John Higgins. Zhao Xintong made a 146 in his first frame, but lost 4-2 to John O'Connor, Zhou Yuelong won the all Chinese match with Xiao Guodong, Chang Bingyu beat Si Jiahui.
Stuart Bingham beat Tubbs 4-1
I said Jiang Jun was one to watch, and he came back from 3-0 down to beat David Gilbert 4-3. Wins for Selby, Kyren, Mark Allen Wu Yize and Thepchaiya.
