Did anyone see The One Show tonight, with Hammond & May on to promote the GT.
It was a very awkward interview, they clearly weren't allowed to mention Top Gear by name, they kept referring to "that show we were never on and have never heard of", and no mention of Clarkson either.
It was also unintentionally funny, the two of them came in wearing a cardboard cut-out car, which they sat down in and kept fiddling about with. They asked should they get rid of it and Alex said "I think we'll have it off"
Then she remarked to Hammond "you've got a very big tent", to which he replied "no, it's just the way I'm sitting on the sofa"

I wasn't massively in to this weeks episode and there are a couple of peices within the show I find forced and cringy but I know there's gold coming up later in the series that will have me re-watching over and over again like the old days

I thought it was OK, although these sorts of themed bits really need stronger car material than just an excuse to remake the war films that Jezza loves. Then again, at least now there need never be a cross between a war film and Groundhog Day (assuming there hasn't already been one).
I hope they drop the celebrities altogether (and not just literally). At least "Conversation Street" was better, though they should have mentioned that Koenigsegg One:1 which Jay Leno looked at the other week.
