im trying to upload a video to rapidshare, its a 30 min video of Asia from my own collection lol (was holding out sorry)
but it keeps saying connection interrupted, could you help please

last night it took ages to upload so i just gave up...
its a .vob file and is 0.99GB.
whats the easiest and fastest way to upload it please.
Damn, that's big. That'd take me over 2 hours to upload with a 24Meg connection.
The fastest way to upload it is to convert it to a compressed format such as .mp4, .mpg, .avi or .wmv - you could probably get a half hour video down to 300-500 MB depending on the video dimensions, format and frame-rate. Bear in mind, even this will probably take you over an hour to upload.
Also, I assume you've discovered this, but in order for the file to be downloaded by non premium members, RS has a file limit size of 200MB. Megaupload has a limit of 1 GB.

No, its impossible with a file that size.
In order to post it, you need to convert it to a different format if you want to reduce the size. I use
Mpeg Streamclip to convert my .vobs to smaller formats - its fairly easy to use.
You'll need to spend a little time seeing how it works as you would with any video editing software. Then you can upload the converted video to Megaupload.
Alternatively, you could just upload the whole .vob to Megaupload, but I'm not sure many people would want to download a 1GB file.
