MediaFire doesn't work on the Playstation 3. I say that from experience. It freezes on "Your download is starting".

you can't download to your Playstation as default, however if your pc and ps3 are networked then you can setup a media server on the pc and transfer downloads such as films and music over.
Windows media player acts as a media server.
your PS3 will recognise this since it has media server support and you can navigate files/folders on ur PC

Some months ago I uploaded a video file to megaupload. I then had a request from somebody to upload it to Deposit files so they could download it to a playstation.
http://depositfiles.com/en/
I believe they then got the files ok.
Have no further details about it. I dont have a playstation myself.
