Injustice 2 will apparently have roster of 30 characters with an additional 9 DLC characters.With the confirmed list so far ie Batman,Superman,Supergirl etc there is an unconfirmed list of the remaining characters from a 'reliable source' has been doing the rounds on a few sites which include;

Being mostly unaware of who in DC universe in Injustice 2 who is dead/alive I'm still hoping to see Beast Boy,King Shark,Killer Croc,Martian Manhunter (my favourite character in the first game) & Spawn as the Guest Character. I do know Joker is dead in Injustice 2 comics but he's a sure bet to be the game none-the-less.

Glad to see Swamp Thing finally make the game,he was high on my wishlist of characters I wanted in the game.Here's hoping Beast Boy,Vixen & Spawn are next.

Looks like the possible character list I mentioned before seems be coming to true with the confirmed characters announced so far.I've also read somewhere that Red Hood, Vixen & Sub-Zero are scheduled to be among the DLC characters.
Swamp Thing & Dr Fate look to be the best characters so far judging by the gameplay footage.
