Guys this is going to look a lot more like 32 girl competition and I will be happy to take advice as to how to run the competition... so that if I run it again next year it will be more easier...
Two hours to close of nominations If I can I will reveal the participants on maybe Tuesday/Wednesday and the first round will be staged probably the Saturday after next...
babelover, bear in mind that if you have 32 girls in the competition, it will take 5 rounds to get to a winner, so make sure there is enough time left to fit that in.

Need not take 5 rounds. Group them into 4's or 8's or whatever to shorten each round if you wish.
I could do it like the world cup!! four ladies in each group! what do you think? the top two highest scoring girls qualify for knockout stage...
In Ultimate Babe comps of years gone by that I have run there is one method I used that could come in handy for you.
Reduce the time frame for voting in each round on the basis of less decisions having to be made.
So for example if you to start with 16 contenders.
Round One - allow 5 days for voting with 8 matches
Quarter Finals - allow 4 days for voting with 4 matches
Semi Finals - allow 3 days for voting with two matches
Final - allow 2 days for voting with one match
This would end the competition within 14 days which means if you started it on Saturday 28th November it would finish in plenty of time before Christmas.
I would suggest not having a group phase. It would prolong the comp and create much more work for you.
Just go straight to knockout.

But whatever you do I would urge against a group phase.
The composition of groups would almost certainly be deemed as unfair and unbalanced. Best to avoid accusations in that regard
