can you remember? i'm going to show my age here, it was condorman.

having gone with my family i remember enjoying it but after jogging my memory with the trailer, it must've been the thrill of the outing as a whole that i enjoyed rather than the film itself! Smile
My first cinema experience was when my mum took me to see Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I was too young at the time to enjoy it but my mum loved it so much that we stayed in for the next showing aswell Smile
I remember my mum telling me the first time I went to the cinema was to watch Snow White, story goes that the witch scared the shit out of me, man that was a bad 21st Bounce I was in fact 4 years old, it was nearly 32 years ago Surprised

Funnily enough, I've never really liked watching the old cartoon since, so...

^ I saw that in the cinema when it first came out also.

I have been told by my parents I saw various different Disney films in the cinema including The Jungle Book but don't remember the experience of any of them.
First film I can properly remember seeing in the cinema is ... Rolleyes no, honestlyRolleyes ... Star Wars.
(There was no "Episode IV" subtitle nonsense when it first came out.)bladewave

It was cold, it was snowy, and it was a long train journey to a proper city with a cinema to see it.

I think probably must have seen it in January 1978 as I don't associate it with Christmas time at all, so it had probably been out for a few weeks. (It was released in late December in the UK).
The first film I can actually remember seeing and enjoying in a cinema was Star Wars. The film was so popular at the time that we had to go to another county to watch it Big Grin
We couldn't get tickets for the picture house in Dumfries so we crossed the border and watched it in Carlisle Smile
The Lion king or Home Alone 2 i think but my memory as a kid is woeful, it feels like my life started when i was about 10
this was mine

^ I clearly remember taking my little brother to the cinema to see that the year it came out; in a matinee showing during summer holidays....so I feel older ! eek
It was in a cinema in a fairly small town - there was hardly anybody else there watching it. Weird.
I guess, again, it had probably been out a while.

Living in a town with no cinema, in those days we probably only went to 2 or 3 films a year, during holidays or day trips !!

( Rolleyes Wink puts on Yorkshire accent : " 2 or 3 films a year ? You were lucky...we used to dream of...." etc laughRolleyes )
