I assume it's because they haven't yet got a definite date.

There isn't much point in saying they will be back some time, as they have been saying that all along anyway. Until they have a confirmed date there really isn't anything new to announce.

Plus if they did make an announcement everyone would immediately want to know when exactly, and if they couldn't answer because they didn't have a date it would come across as a bit lame.

Perhaps it's all just a rumour and they ain't coming back!

They are definitely coming back. I'd say that Red Light's return to TV is a certainty. Unfortunately they may only have one channel and at the foot of the EPG too, in which case I fear that they may struggle. Still I wish them well as we the viewers badly need some more choice.

When they return hopefully it will be something better than s66 with a different name.
