Just seen that Both Hugh Scully and Gordon Honeycombe have died this week at 72 and 79 respectivly

Scully presented the Antiques roadshow for over 20 years until 2000

Gosh. Thank you for alerting me to these deaths. Remember Gordon Honeycombe fondly.

The classic ITN pairing was Alistair Burnett and Sandy Gall. Their Falklands War newscasts were Churchillian to the BBC New's virtual treachery at the time.

Yes, Hugh Scully presented Nationwide in its final years
