Has he seen what a career boost that had for Clarkson?
I suppose Amazon will come in now and offer him 20 million, now that really would be a winning profit Wink
If the BBC had a pay-per-view channel they could get him and Clarkson in the Ring for a bit of a scrap. "Celebrity Punch-up" has quite a nice ring to it....better than Strictly Come Mincing and all the other rubbish they show.
Seems to me that someone is trying to make something from very little.
For starters, the story originates from The Sun, which lets face it, has all the journalistic integrity of the Sport these days!
Secondly, they mention a 'bust-up' in inverted commas, then mention the Top Gear business, implying that there were similar fisti-cuffs involved. Suggesting an investigation has been launched strengthens that idea. If you actually read it however, he went in for a meeting with the production staff at the BBC offices. There is no actual evidence or suggestion of anything untoward. Sounds to me like a simple disagreement over the direction they were trying to take the show, being blown out of all proportion for sensationalist reasons.

It's not the first time they've used guest presenters anyhow, I've seen a few recently while flicking through the channels on daytime viewing, and noticed they had some of the experts guest presenting for some reason.
I caught the auction part of one show a month or so ago while waiting for the news to come on after. I had to laugh that with a budget of just £300 to spend, they managed to end up losing just shy of £200. Says a lot for the quality of the expert!
I hate him anyway. Only watch it for kate bateman and Christina Trevenion and dont know why but got a thing for Kate bliss must be the posh accent Wink

The problem with bargain hunt is that they go to a market where they pay retail and then have to go to auction where people pay trade

the antiques road trip and put your money where your mouth is better shows shows how good the experts can be
^ They could always get Christina Trevenion to present it.
She did a decent job in last year as a guest presenter.
Yeah she would be great doubt she would do it full time as she has her own auction house. Anita manning the older scottish one would make a good presenter she did a few shows as well then again she has her own auction house to.
Then Again Wink

As Tim has been suspended, the BBC have said that are covering with guest presenters
they should rotate the presenter.
