network tv is restricted due to advertisement and sponsorships, for example there was an episode of criminal minds which had a vicious attack in a pharmaceutical shop which involved a man slashing up people with blood splatter they managed to do with the consent of cbs sponsors. it is why you will never see arms or legs getting broken in fight scenes, you will never a fight scene like the one season 3 of banshee between the indian woman and proctor's right man involving the car on shows network tv.

back to Jessica jones, I have watched the first 5eps, there been some good fight scenes but not as good as the hallway fight scene daredevil which took 12 takes each one being one take, they managed to complete it 3 times and even managed to switch actor for stuntman without us knowing. I hope the luke cage series is more of an origin series. tennant being the villain is like a darker version of the dr he played when he was the dr.

the final ep is very understated but it suits the whole show. cannot wait for luke cage and iron fist then daredevil season plus the defenders mini series.

this is roughly based on the alias story arc after she was part of SHIELD, I wonder much of the other marvel stuff they are allowed to mention.

Overall the series was good, very flawed hero and hopefully in season 2 (if there is one) she seeks redemption and realises that what everyone else thinks of her.
David Tennant is so good in this role he excels at playing evil so well and his so fucking creepy.
Season two now confirmed.
^Glad to hear it because Jessica Jones is a cracking series.
hells yeah kitchen

more jj, I hope see her start to believe in herself has others do. getting the new villain right for season2 will be a tough task after tenant being the purple man.

it shows that there is appetite for good comic book tv series.
Months late to the party here but I've just got into this and I think it's bloody magic. Krysten Ritter and - in particular - David Tennant are excellent, and I can't wait to see how Season 1 wraps up (I've still got three EPs left to watch).
Glad to hear second season commissioned.
Only just got round to watching Jessica Jones after treating myself to the Blu ray steel book. Netflix have come up with another very good Marvel adaptation, Ritter and Tenant are excellent in their respective roles and the production captures the grim and seedy side of NY perfectly. 8/10
Actor J.R. Ramirez has joined the cast for season 2.
