If anyone (else) is having trouble getting depositfiles pages to load or open properly, they seem to have added an Adblock detector.
Whitelisting the site fixes it, or did for me anyway.

Cue new tabs opening everytime I click somewhere on a dfiles page now, even more than usual. Rolleyesannoyed
This morning I find that when clicking on a dfiles download link on the forum, the new browser tab/page auto-closes after a second. Not every time, but very often. Sometimes, after repeatedly clicking on a link a dozen times, the page tells me I've reached my download limit, get a gold account. bladewave

This happens with Chrome, but not IE9. Tried cleaning cache and cookies, no effect. Rolleyes
Is it just me, or have the D/L speeds been limited to 50/kb per second now? That's when downloading for free, of course.

I started downloading a video just now, and after one minute it had done about 12mb.

these links are all great but has anybody noticed that depositfiles download button no longer works? They've changed the captcha verification to selecting images, and once I've selected the correct images the download link appears but it is not interactive. Download doesnt start, its like they've forgotten to put the hyperlink in annoyed
^ Just tried that link, and it seemed to work normally.

Has anyone else been experiencing problems with Depositfiles site recently, specifically being automatically logged out when trying to upload or access files, which means constantly having to sign in every other mouse click.
The answers I've gotten from their support so far, have frankly been complete bullshit, which is why I'm asking around.
It wouldn't upload this morning when I tried it, on Firefox.
Switched to Chrome, logged in, and it worked. Uploaded without issue.

Might be a browser extension interfering, or a privacy thing (on the lines of browser not allowing cookies, saving site data etc.) Total guess though.
Thanks, Jam Da Man. Much appreciated, but I've tried 2 different computers, 2 different browsers and used 2 different ISPs (one at a friend's house) and I'm still getting the problem.
It started last week. Can't even access my files without getting kicked out. I've changed my password as a precaution.

Support's first response was to say "hope it doesn't happen again". I kid you not.
Their second response was to send me a list of IP addresses and log in times for the last 2 days (none of which are even remotely like my IP addresses) and advised me that the problem is caused by my ISP was using dynamic IP addresses. That means that my friend's ISP mysteriously started using dynamic ISPs at the same time as mine, and that all the other sites I visit are immune to this.

Hmmmm ....odd Smile
