Ok I will start by saying sorry for posting something that is in no way related to the lovely ladies, but I am soooooooooooo pissed off..

I just made my first purchases from Itunes a few days ago but I cant get the buggering things to download. I keep getting a message saying that my connection timed out.

I have run all the tests I know how but still no dice. Please if anyone could shed some light on this I would really appreciate it.

I've never had that problem before. What are you using? A pc? or an ipod touch/iphone?
they should auto download as soon as you paid for them...

if you open your itunes and click on STORE at the top line its got two options for you to try, Authorize computer as this for some reason might be set other wise?

second option is check for availible downloads and this should download anything you havent already downloaded?

if neither of those work you will have to email itunes support and get them to sort it out for you they should also send your missed downloads to the availible downloads section, make sure you can verify your purchases with the online receipts from your email account otherwise they wont do jack all for ya

This is spot on.Had an issue with a couple of tracks that got corrupted so emailed support and they made the offending tracks re-available for download.

Something else just occurred to me.Have you used a valid card?You might get an email saying the card used is invalid.Just a thought...........

Normally connections issues with itunes are down to the windows firewall or any other Firewall software you're running, try disabling these first to rule out the possibility of software.

If that fails and it seems like more of an account issue then head over to, http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/store and select the issue that sounds similar to your own, you will be taken to an FAQ page and at the bottom is an Email template.

They generally reply within 24 hours.
