Yes it's not news, but actually an old story. Amazon announced that policy at the beginning of 2013 and most of the well known US pornstars had their wish lists deleted that year.

If girls are careful where they link to, don't advertise their adult work, don't include adult items on the list and don't appear to promise buyers anything in return they should be OK.

Doesn't everything on the list have to be something that can be purchased via Amazon anyway, so how could there be any 'inappropriate content' on them?

You can add stuff onto a wish list from other sites, I think they have some sort of browser addon or something similar to make this easier.
Besides that, if you read the article, it does say that many of the 'inappropriate' items are actually things that amazon themselves sell.

There are always alternatives anyhow. I see a few cam girls starting to use deliverycode instead. Apparently it comes from the same people as the customs4u site, so no problems with adult items or suchlike.

^yeah, that's just what the world needs. another way for pretty girls to blag some free shit.
^^^ You are sounding a tad cynical there terence, but according to most of the twitter feeds I follow, the girls aren't abusing these wish lists with trivial stuff, they are using them for very important things, things that they really, really, REALLY need, and apparently if you buy them such stuff, they will actually fall in love with you forever, so I think it's good that we have a mechanism to unite these impoverished girls with items they wouldn't otherwise be in any position to obtain.

I still recall an american cam girl begging guys for stuff for her new rental house, including a new bed for her son. Although it felt a bit 'odd' asking for stuff for her kids in this way, I could appreciate it must be tough having to furnish a new house and provide for her family. A few days later she posted a pic of her new finger nails, over $100 worth of manicure and painting, for frigging fingernails! A new hairdo I could understand, hair is an important part of the whole 'look' which is important for her job and income, but how many guys actually get off on fingernails! That was one expense that really could have waited in the circumstances. I couldn't take her seriously after that.
terence. Totally agree but blame the the punters daft enough to buy the gifts.
I don't know why people are so negative about wish lists. It's not as though people don't buy things for these girls ANYWAY. Instead of getting shoes when they don't want or need anymore shoes, they might as well guide people to get them something they do actually want.

Wishlists are the ultimate symbol of babeshow fan exploitation. Its not an innocent gifting giving service. Its ridiculous that these women earning very good money should be asking for gifts from sycophantic followers who likely earn a lot less money.

Im assuming that some members of this forum have bought gifts for a babeshow girl before, so can i ask;
Why?
and What happened afterwards?

P.S. Not trying to criticise gift givers, just trying to understand.

Well to be fair anyone's entitled to spend their disposable income the way they want. It's their own freedom of choice.
Gullible men have always splashed the cash chasing after unobtainable women, wherever it's in pubs and clubs or online the principal is the same. As long as the girls don't make promises they don't keep in return for gifts, I think the practice is pretty harmless.
