England team: Alastair Cook (capt), Jonathan Trott, Gary Ballance, Joe Root, Ian Bell, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (wk), Chris Jordan, Stuart Broad, James Tredwell. James Anderson.
West Indies have won the toss and put England in, although Cook said he would have chosen to bat anyway.

Trott didn't last for long. Just 3 balls.
He didn't look like the Jonathan of old

Well done to Ian Bell on reach his century. (now 22 test match hundreds)
England presently on 252-4
I notice that Bell has added protection to his helmet, just behind the ears. Probably as a result of what happened to Phillip Hughes

West Indies can't be happy with the first day after they decided to bowl, with England plundering 174 in the last 36 overs.

That's almost reasonable scoring for an ODI(well for England at any rate)

England have struggled in the mornings play.
Presently 385-9. And the 10th wicket partnership is now the 3rd highest of the innings
Ever since Stuart Broad suffered the facial injury last year his batting has been abysmal. Out for yet another duck. He could soon be batting at number 11.

Looking ahead to The Ashes, Starc and Johnson frighten me to death against the England batting line up let alone the tail enders .
These batting collapses are doing my head in .
Three gone in a hurry at the start and four in a hurry towards the end of an innings .
