OfCom is required by law to reflect public opinion. Three years ago there was blantant hands down knickers, knicker rubbing, dildo use and occasional open legs in all unencrypted shows, and occasional clearly visible oral and pentratation is pre-encryption liveshows. OfCom dished out massive fines because of less than 10 complaints in the entire year.

10 complaints - that's what one episode of The Alan titchmarsh Show got 2 weeks ago. OfCom are bending the law to suit their own personal beliefs.
I can understand Ofcom having a go when Kelly forgets her underwear and Juliet decides to give a gynaecology lecture but why on earth would anybody have a problem with a pair of stockings? Is it still the 1950s and nobody told me? You see more revelaing outfits than that on sixth formers for God's sake.

Correct, and you can say the same about virtually every government agency starting with the letters "OF..."

OFGEM does bugger all to stop energy companies fleecing us all by charging ridiculous prices that don't reflect the base price of oil and gas

OFQUAL does such a sterling job at regulating qualifications that you can now get a degree in Surfing or Social Networking (Using Facebook)

and our favourite OFCOM, who for some reason have their heads so far up their arse they think it's 1950

Personally, I think it's about time the 900 channels enabled the 4-digit pin code function for all their sky programs, day or night. It's nothing new...all the free to watch sky movie channels have it now, and then they could extend a hearty extended middle finger to all the self serving stiffs in government regulatory offices. Don't even try to play their game, they change the rules to fit their own purposes Wink
its funny wasnt 9song's shown on sky movies ?

its pretty much hardcore porn with 9 songs played
The sad fact is that the 900 channels are just an easy target.

Think of the fuss that happens in a shopping centre when a sex shop wants to open.

Happened recently in my town, picketing the site etc....totally daft considering the shop's name was subtle. No window displays just blacked out windows unlike at least 2 lingerie shops in the high street which were easily visible to all the young children who were supposed to be corrupted by a shop which appears to sell blank windows!!

Just the way it is today
wonder if they are cracking down more since jacqui smiths husband was caught buying tv x hahaha

The boundaries are supposed to be based on a piece of research into public opinion back in 2005 which came into force in July 2006. If it is based on research, and that research has not been updated, then the rules should be the same. Shouldn't they?

But it looks as if the rules are tightened up every year - 2008 was hotter than now, 2007 even hotter and 2006 was scorchio. Or is it just my imagintion?

Of course, it doesn't help that the survey group contained a large number of Asian women (it was based in Hounslow, Croydon, Brisol, Leicester and Glasgow) - not my words, that's in the official report. (Also an above average number of Afro-Caribbean women).
