It has been announced that former Wolves owner Sir Jack Hayward has passed away today at the age of 91.
As a Wolves fan this is an unbelievably sad day.
It is hard to put into words just how much this remarkable man did for my club and how much his contribution means to us all at Molineux. The debt the Molineux faithful owe to him is unquantifiable and off the scale.
He was a saviour, a true gent and someone of unparalleled integrity and decency.
Farewell to Sir Jack - Wolverhampton's favourite son.
You will be sorely missed.
Molineux will be a sombre place tonight for the visit of Fulham in the FA Cup replay.
R.I.P.
