Ep 1 “Pilot” Season 1
When I first heard about the announcement of the show I was sure what to think but the more trailers and concept art i saw the more interest I had in the show.
After watching the pilot it’s a lot darker and gritty and violentvthen I thought but it’s axtuslly good thing. I actually like the cast and the acting, the story is very compelling and very interested in the direction of the show it has a lot of potential. The look of the film is similar to the Man of Steel even right down to the Superman symbol.
Even the cities look like out the comics especially from the new Krypton storyline minus a little colour here and there, the villain which you already know by far is the most comic accurate version of him even his ship looks like the comic book version and looks scarier. Time travel is involved in the show it makes sense why.
Some Easter Eggs without spoilers listen out for the name of terrorist group there’s been a link with them in Supermam comics, even mentioned in Smallville and there’s a link with them and Superboy to do with the hyper time story arc in the comics. Also keep a listen out for the theme during the pilot as it’s very familiar, a certain plant and a iconic familiar outfit well part of it. I also got a reply from one of the actresses on show which I was surprised about, the show is actually filmed in the UK.

i really liked the first ep. hoped they wold make more use of Paula Malcomson as she was excellent in ray donovan

Yeah, hopefully we'll see her in flashbacks, if not, that sucks, but it was a catalyst. It's definitely worth checking out.
