Autumn internationals round up:

Wales beaten by Georgia eek.
England fightback late on to claim a draw against NZ shocked
Ireland overcome Australia with late kick Cool
The Rugby Championship started today.

South Africa handed Australia a bit of a drubbing beating them 43-12 in Pretoria.

Argentina are playing New Zealand right now.

Significant tournament before the World Cup later in the year.
Argentina didn't turn up the first 40 minutes new Zealand were just ruthless in attack
Roll on round 2 next week
I get the feeling the All Blacks are hitting good form at the moment.
Into the second round of matches.

New Zealand have weathered a fightback from South Africa to win 35-20 in Auckland.

Argentina claimed a famous 34-31 triumph in Sydney against Eddie Jones's Australia.
Yesterday New Zealand thrashed Eddie Jones's Australia 38-7 in Melbourne while South Africa edged out Argentina 22-21 in a classic Johannesburg encounter.
In the Rugby Championship there was a tense 23-20 victory for New Zealand over Australia in Dunedin after recovering from
3-17 down at the half time interval.

In Buenos Aires it was South Africa who emerged 24-13 winners against Argentina.

Over in the Northern hemisphere there were wins for Wales over England, Scotland over France and Ireland over Italy in a series of World Cup warm up matches.
This weekend so far has seen England beat Wales 19-17 and France beat Scotland 30-27.
The England Vs Wales was a real snooze fest first half before madness second half including Owen Farrell getting sent off for yet another stupid attempt of a tackle
Whilst the opposite was for the France Vs Scotland game highly entertaining despite playing in 30 degrees of heat and a real contender for what happened next moment when Dupont kicked the ball and Blair kinghorn caught it only to discover the ball had burst
So World Rugby try to tighten on avoiding head injuries, and the RFU claim that player welfare is their major concern and tackles to head should be red cards or cited.

Then in the lead up to the World Cup the England captain does a stupid, no-arms shoulder-to-head tackle, exactly as he has done before.

So what do the RFU do?

They employ a top barrister to get what should be a thoroughly deserved ban dismissed on a technicality so he doesn't miss the World Cup.

RFU concerned about player welfare? Like hell they are.
