I'm sure this kp scenario has been while big publicity stunt for his book sale. Piers Morgan has been a great pr and so has talk sport. Even sky sports have joined the bandwagon. Ppl like Andy flowers are getting blamed. Ppl forget England were number one team for a while. It all changed in that ashes series. England always had big characters but now every player is getting questioned over this pieterson row.
Pieterson has an enormous ego and he put that before his performances for England. What also doesn't help his case is that he receives support from Morgan who is not a trustworthy individual.
It's interesting that Ricky Ponting and Graeme Smith have both come out in support of some of Pietersen's claims. That's good for him, but what's sad for him is his imagining that he might still somehow play for England again. He naïvely fails to recognise that his book has proven to the England hierachy that he's a troublemaker and he will accordingly never be considered again.
And also he chose to play in the IPL too. He was a breath of fresh air back in 2005 and at last we all thought England had a batsman capable of scoring big runs. If anything his texting and this book and it's claims will come back to bite him on the bum big time I think
The fact the rest of the players didn't want to play in the same team as Pietersen speaks volume's about him .
Probably the most despised "team-mate" since Boycott .
Their characters are quite similar ;
Massive cricket talent , massive ego ,outspoken in the media , splits supporters in two (pro -anti),believe no-one else matters but themselves ,ALL their team-mates are not worthy of being in the same team as them .
P.S. It's only since Boycott recovered from his throat cancer that he's mellowed slightly and is now looking back on his career with a long list of personal regrets .
I suspect Pietersen will at some point in his life ,look back on his career and attitude with regret also .
I think that the only loyalty Pieterson had/has is to himself. I think it's called being an egomaniac!

New ECB Chairman Colin Graves says Kevin could be considered for a shock recall - but only if he plays regular county cricket
At present he doesn't have a county and he's got commitments to play in t20 competitions around the world which would affect him playing in county cricket.
considering him again? I think we have shown we have players to fill that role that he had in the batting order but I think bringing Pietersen back will probably open up the divisions between himself and the rest of the team, and whether any county will be keen to take on his services.
KP has just passed 300 in his latest innings for Surrey, pushing his claims for an England recall.
New England director of cricket Andrew Strauss will tomorrow make a statement regarding Kevin.

It will be hard not to include him after his 326 not out against Leicestershire today
