Like I said it's a suggestion to try something to see if it helps stop some of the examples scottishbloke has just shown, nobody want to come on here and read through page after page of that... By removing the post counts I don't see why the members that do make these type of posts constantly would have any reason to do it anymore..

Talk about Guilty Conscience...

I didn't see anybody mention you rammy... but if you are classing yourself as a spammer thats your choice.
I vote for the third option :-

'Who gives a shit'

Is there some sort of prize for post counts that I am not aware of? Should I be collecting Nectar points for this?

I get that there is a lot of mundane and meaningless stuff on the forum. Welcome to the Internet. But it is a big leap to suggest that the reason for frequent posts -- however pointless we may find them -- is simply for the purpose of driving up one's post count. If weeding out 'unnecessary' posts is meant to be the purpose of this little experiment, then I don't think it would work as I struggle to believe that simply driving up one's post count is the main motivation.

If we must go on a crusade against the trite and the trivial, then I would sooner go after people who feel the need to Tweet pictures of their cat or the meal they just ordered. Seriously, there should be fines for that! And banning orders for repeat offenders. And ASBOs!

To the streets...!
So it's ok for you to spam and boost your post count but not ok for others.
It seems like it's 'do as I say not what I do'.

How is it clear I am aiming anything at you rammy? why are you getting so protective over this?

1. I didn't mention you.
2. I don't have an agenda against you..

You decided to post something in here and turn it into a so called agenda against yourself.. nobody else did.
But if we didn't have a post count then how will Darius know when it's time to leave? Smile

With the greatest of respect I've just had a look through your post history and it's littered with one word posts such as word association Threads and all the various A to Z's you post and contribute.

I'm not taking sides here but come on..........how can you of all people justify having a dig at Fernandez Rolleyes
