Would this be Lawnmower Bob by any chance?
Farewell to the Boulevard Strip then, 1996-2013. I spent many happy hours in there and have memories of seeing some great girls on stage. My years of visitation were 1996-2005, so I confess I hadn't been for 8 years when it closed, but even so I'm sorry to hear of its demise.

Thought I'd contribute if that's OK?

Yes you're very welcome. Smile

Just out of interest, what makes Limousine Strip easier for you than working in the lap dancing clubs?

Hello

In reply to your question....

With the limo work I find it easier as I know that I'll get paid upfront (and any tips I get). I don't have to work 8 hour shifts, finish at 4am, kick back to the club and compete with 50 plus girls.

Four or five jobs a week does me fine.

Nicole xx
Is there a strip club in london where you are sometimes allowed to touch the goods ? Because i feel its kinda like having a fresh bucket of kfc in front of you but you can't have any... pure torture
I see that the Sunset Strip is open again, even if it's limited hours at the moment. Does anyone know when it was allowed to reopen, as I've lost track of all these lockdown rules? It must have been recently? It's good to see it's survived the pandemic anyway.
Theatres were allowed to open with 50% capacity on 17 May and the Sunset Strip is a theatre. Full capacity is supposed to be allowed from 21 June.
Well it may be fully open again, but it's not as we knew it. A friend of mine went to the Sunset a few days ago and it's now topless dancing only, unless you pay for a private dance. Not only that, but the theatre seating has gone, replaced by tables and stools.
It's the end of an era then if they aren't doing full stripping anymore. Topless dancing isn't striptease. Still I guess the Sunset had a good run, 1960-2020, and at least it's survived the pandemic even if in a different form.
It almost brings a tear to my eye when I remember all the Soho strip clubs I used to visit and see that they are all gone now. The Sunset was the last survivor and although it may still going it isn't a strip club anymore. Removing the seating and the stage nudity means it's just another lap dancing club now.

Hi

And not just the Soho strip clubs, the pubs as well in 1972 London had approximately
350 pubs with strippers, the were free magazines 9 till 5 Midweek etc and in the small job adds each week there were at least 4 adds for stripper jobs. Sad but those days have gone
