Creditable result tonight, and four points accrued so far, with the games against Germany in Germany and Poland in Poland now out of the way. That's pretty good going. Another pat on the back for Strachan.

I'm a wee bit late in posting this but I was very proud of the way Scotland performed the other night, yes we could have had all 3 points after going into a 2-1 lead but you can't deny Poland a share of the spoils. Also you have to ask yourself if Levein was still in charge would we have fought back as bravely as we did after going 1-0 behind.
Lastly from a neutral point of view just what a fantastic game of football it was, end to end stuff played at such a high pace that we rarely see these days when it comes to international's which have lately ended up with too much emphis being put on defending rather than attacking. One thing about Strachan's teams is that we'll fight to the very end and never give up and never stop believing in the impossible.

Scotland's extra bit of quality told in the end. Good result for them, and for the neutral, opening Group D right up, as it does. Gordon Strachan deserves immense credit for what he's done with this team.
