reminds me of DMC

im liking the details in the environments... even the doors have been rendered with the intention of making them look as good as they can. (rather than just a polygon with a flat texture laid over it.)

I'm ashamed to admit it, but this game was too damn difficult for me

The graphics, animation, level design, weapons... it's all top-notch, but I just couldn't seem to get my combat timing right and, after my 10,000th death at the hands of low-level enemies, I traded it in at Game.

But waited a couple of weeks as I'd already scoffed at the staff pre-warning me of it's notorious difficulty level, assuring them that I'm a seasoned gamer, and didn't want to return it just 3 days later with my tail between my legs.

For me Bloodborne is probably the best game on the PS4 which took me a little under 40 hours to complete (a lot of the time takes up powering up your weapons to take on the bigger & badder bosses).Anyone who is a fan of the Dark Soul games will take to this like a duck to water as tbh I found Bloodborne to be a fair bit easier than either of the three Dark Souls.The upgrading of weapons,armour etc is identical to the Dark Soul games but the main difference with Bloodborne is you cannot block attacks you have to dodge/evade which creates a small window of opportunity (& vulnerability) on counter-attacking the enemy.The graphics are stunning,some of the best on PS4/Xone with a Gothic/ Victorian style setting.

With games like Bloodborne,Dark Souls & the like perseverance is the key as they do have a steep learning curve where the next boss battle will be more difficult than the last.Where some enemies/bosses may seem frustrating & unbeatable at times do have weaknesses you merely just have to find it & exploit it through trial & error but the satisfaction of completing a boss after the upteenth time of trying can only be matched like scoring a 35-yard screamer against your mates in Fifa.
