sometimes you see or hear a word, and it just brings a smile to your face, i remember reading the problem page of a certain newspaper, the phrase "i was buggered up the arse" was used,

i must admit the word buggered or buggery always makes me smile.

another one is gonad.

what brings word a smile to your face?

ps, there's no bonus points for guessing the paper
Not a word but a name. I was watching some documentary, either Horizon or something on the Discovery Channel, and it featured some guy called Dr. Jay Melosh. That is name my official favourite name.

I don't know why, but I just picture him bellowing in a deep, evil voice, "I AM MELOSH! FEAR MY WRATH!"

I think I started a thread like this ages ago but it's well worth a re visit.Funniest word...CREVICE...that was my outright favourite for school boy chuckles until I discovered the RnB star Ginuwine's real name! ELGIN LUMPKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big Grin I mean ELGIN fucking LUMPKIN! His parents should be in prison for child cruelty! Big Grin You can't do a lot about Lumpkin but at least give the lad a chance and call him John or Steven to soften the blow! Big Grin

Dreamlander
Axe wound & growler always puts a smile on my face.
I think it depends more on how the word is said rather than the word. Willie Rushton once said "Pontefract" on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue and I laughed for several hours. My favourite comedy name is a NY Yankees pitcher from the 1920s called Urban Shocker - it sounds like a cinema genre.
Flange.
jokes Tongue
Clunge.
mas0887 just made me laugh on another thread with the word "fuckberries". I quite fancy some now - with cream.
