Having enjoyed watching series one where Steve (Coogan) and Rob (Brydon) travel to restaurants in the Yorkshire Dales, I must report that the current series in Italy is sadly disappointing.
Brydon has always won, IMO, the verbal jousts with Coogan, but at least in series one Coogan responded in a positive fashion. In this second series set in Italy Coogan seems bored and gives off the impression that he's just going through the motions.
Anyway, we're only half way with another three episode remaining, so hopefully Coogan will perk up and come out of his corner fighting (metaphorically).
