Can anyone tell me how to get a .ts file to play?
I've tried WM/Real Player/FLV etc...no luck.

Try VLC media player, that usually does the trick.

I've also just downloaded the Yvette flash gash vid from megaupload.
It is a .ts file.
WTF is that?
Even my computer which runs linux and plays everything does not know what it is.
'.ts = transport stream.
It is effectively the raw MPEG signal with multiple video, audio and data components contained in it'....apparently.
It will play with vlc player, or at least, it does for me.

Thanks for info. It does play on my linux computer with VLC player. I just had to choose to open the file with VLC.
Video files are usually recognised automatically no matter what the file extension is and normally open when clicked.
Any future .ts files will now automatically open with VLC when clicked.
