Here's Poland's entry folks. Enjoy

I certainly like Slavic girlsSmile
At least the UK has a much better entry this year ! No need to hide in shame at the feeble efforts of some tired old has been singing for the UK, this is actually not bad at all.

I see Russia and Ukraine are both in the first semi final. I wonder what reception they'll get from the audience, especially Russia. I don't like to bring politics into events that aren't directly concerned but Eurovision is a different kettle of fish
Sorry to pour cold water over this but does anyone take the competition seriously any longer. Since the arrival of the former Soviet bloc nations, they, for purely political reasons, vote for either their neighbours, or in some cases as against their neighbours. All this has nothing to do with the song or act they have witnessed. bladewave

It's a far cry from the initial concept of the Eurovision Song Contest.

No, nobody takes it seriously. Not from the western side of Europe anyway. That's the whole point and precisely why it provides so much entertainment. In fact the only way to get through this event is not to take it seriously.

People have known for years about the political voting - that again is part of it. The shit acts, the crazy votes, the occasional unbelievable faux pas of the presenters. They're all things that demand it is not taken seriously. Rolleyes
Seems to have a charmed life does the Eurovision Song Contest. Would say its long past its sell by date, and time to call it a day. Abba was about the only thing I can think of that made it watchable, the rest has been crap, and very poor crap at thatSad
There's plenty other channels these days if you don't want to watch it. I don't like Eastenders so don't watch it, but don't want it scrapped!
I always have a good laugh watching Eurovision laugh.
Honey and I both think we should have been UK entrants as a duo singing a cover of Abba's "Honey Honey"!
I do think we go into this contest with high hopes of winning and then we get undone by political voting. I don't think our song will win many votes and if w don't get in to the final 9if we are in a semi) I wonder how low the viewing figures would be and if they are low this time, would they be low enough to make the BBC think again about wasting money on covering it. I think organisers must be wondering if Ukraine or Russia will turn up to compete, given the current situation in Ukraine. but putting the two together in one semi final is certainly a risky move. If one goes through and one goes out, it could get nasty.
I wonder how many AK47's are going to sneaked in?
Also if Scotland went independent of us, I cannot see how they would vote for us either.
