Well calls probably were down from the normal channels but they've always been down in comparison but surely the way to raise calls isn't shorten the hours of the show then change the format to a very tame nightshows/dayshow hybrid with cam2cam.

Ever decreasing circles ? :
regular daytime shows and nightshows introduce pervcams in attempt to bolster revenues, and the visual appeal /level of interest to casual non-cam viewers of and callers to said TV shows decreases as direct result of the static camerawork, stationary performers and cropped TV views of said performers arising from playing to cams, thereby putting extra reliance on said cams to make up the shortfall, which cams fail to do in immediate short term....?
bright spark realises their sister webshow showing full-on hardcore nudity all day and all night long probably doesn't help subsequently catastrophically declining call levels to said shows above and may in fact be working against strategy to increase revenue from cams usage on these other channels ?....
bright spark initiates similar policy of cam usage on said webshow, in hope of driving callers towards cam (on any shows day and night, webshow or TV) as only alternative ? ....
level of interest to non cam using viewers of said webshow plummets and call levels to webshow similarly decrease...?

?
^ Business mix may change as calls decline but if cam income increase exceeds call income decline & overall profitability improves/or previous loss reduces as a result then as a business it will be deemed a success.

Maybe, but I would have thought a large proportion of calls to babeshows would have historically been "impulse" purchases based on what viewers see on the spur of the moment - cam usage (relying on setting up accounts, log-ins, purchasing credits etc etc ?) seems geared much more towards premeditated use/dedicated fans and will not appeal to a majority of impulse/casual users ?

they left because they was told the shifts would be cut and some let go.....
^ You may be correct BUT if the profitability of the show is better from what they have done then they are simple doing what businesses do all the time.
On twitter Beth said it was a case of jumping before they were pushed.

no, I didn't.. my tweet definitely had the word maybe in it, because I don't know for certain.. that, and you've left out any mention of the article I referenced, which, in summary, was about laws being proposed that would mean any pornographic content broadcast in the UK could potentially only be viewed after age verification. context is always key Smile
