Bunna Wrote:5,6 grab your crucifix, this line always puzzled me,was Freddy afraid of crucifixes?

he only killed catholic teens and they have a bizarre faith that jewelry can ward off evil. not sure if it works against priests
he is very much alive but if he does reprise his whole no need for any makeup

Right words,wrong order! Smile

The first film was 'The Balls' the rest just watered down. The fear in the original was immense and Freddie wasn't the Anti-Hero he became in the sequels.
Michael Bay? It's going to be 3 hours long with a cast of thousands! We'll all see Freddie in our sleep...in the cinema! Big Grin

Dreamlander
i really think the new one should focus on younger victims. always thought that fred should be after youngsters rather than older teens. it would open the door for some spooky dream sequences too i think.
alas its michael bay so it will be a group of teens. the main boy and girl will be in relationship. there will be explosions. freddie will be unrecognisable. there will be loads of ott cgi rather than proper effects. bay is shit
Freddie didnt just kill catholic kids- He killed any kids. He was a child killer and when he was finally caught he was let off on a technicallity that one of the officers never dealt withevidence correctly. The local parents ganged up and set fire to his house with him in it. When burning to death he was offered a deal by dream demons to become immortal if he did their work for him which he accepted and he began to stalk the children of the parents who killed him- The Elm Street children.

Well thats it mostly - not including all details but the films all kind of followed this (number 2 was shite)

The first one I saw was number 3 and I was hooked on horror movies from then.

Regarding the crucifix thing - he was afraid of them -(parts 1 and 3)

Sorry to be such a geek
number 2 was bad but the intro was very good.

some scenes were not so good lol
I believe he was also a child molester but the studio made them tone that bit down
