What are your favourite sitcoms?

Mine are all British apart from one Canadian, I know most people nowadays love the American sitcoms, but I just don't relate to them as much as the classic British sitcoms.

My favourite 20 in order

Fawlty Towers
I'm Alan Partridge
Blackadder
League of Gentlemen

Yes Minister
I love Python, but that's sketch show.

Dad's Army is the next boxset on my to get list, seen the odd episodes over the years on TV, but I need to watch it all from start to finish to rate it.

Never watched Yes Minister, although I know it's rated very highly by lots of people.

Friends? sorry but just no.
Still Game was one of my favourites - every character in it was funny, especially the corner-shop guy and the Peter Stringfellow barman. One of the few programmes that genuinely made me laugh out loud.
Wish they could make a few more episodes. I suppose their tower-block would have been demolished by now. They can move it to the dead seaside town where Winston moved to.
Not Going Out, 2 Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps (not the greatest, but I still enjoyed it), Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory, My Name Is Earl, The I.T Crowd and some others mentioned above like Frasier, Only Fools And Horses, Porridge, Dads Army and a few I can't think of/remember right now
surprised no one has mentioned Desmonds

glad channels like Gold Itv3 are showing a lot of the old 70's ans 80's comedys. BBC2 late last year were showing are you being served that was good

like a lot of the itv ones from that time like Only when i laugh and on the buses george and mildred and man about the house

would love to see mind your language on but sure itv wouldnt have the balls to show it now because of the PC brigade same with bbc and stuff like til death do us part and in sickness and in health

I heard that there could be more
There was rumours that the writers (who play Jack and Victor) had fallen out, but I've heard that's bull shit and they're gonna be bringing it back.

I only discovered Still game for the first time myself last year, crying shame it's not that well known, because it's right up there with the all time classics IMO.
