Adele into the quarter-finals

Well, Adele tore through the last 16 round to defeat Laura Jones and reach the quarter finals but then got the draw nobody wanted, coming up against Caty Cole.

But hey, it isn't over until the fat lady on channel 955 sings, so let's get the vote out, get behind our girl and who knows what might happen - besides, it's about time there was a new name on the trophy!!

Still a long way to go, voting doesn't close until 6.00 pm on Friday but she's already exceeded all expectations in a round few thought she could get anywhere near winning.

With Dannii Harwood doing a split shift somebody should be coming on at midnight or 1.00 am and being Wednesday, our little darling might just put in a late appearance.
