Many of you will know that David Cameron will be blocking PORN to every home and PC in the UK, and you have to apply if you want to see ADULT MATERIAL.

This is all very well for you who live with understanding wives or live by yourself, but how do people like me ask my MOTHER to allow me to watch Porn on the internet, because as the broadband bill payer she has to sign the permission.

So two questions, will this website http://www.babeshows.co.uk/ be blocked by David Cameron? And I remember a man on here saying that he went into the shop CURRYS and disabled the adult filters on tablets so he could look at Babestation, so will this man share how to do this (not in CURRYS) but on my own PC? Huh

Please answer my 2 questions thank you.

Will this site be blocked : quite possibly yes, it all depends on how broadly the filters are applied, we won't really know until it happens. TalkTalk and others already have filtering in place, I believe they will use exactly the same system, it's just a matter of applying it to everyone by default , a change in how it is applied, not the actual method. So, if anyone is with one of these ISP's already, and has their filtering applied, they should be able to tell us whether they can access this site directly or not, and that will give your answer,

As to getting around the block, that is a different matter. The filter is applied at the ISP level, it can't be readily disabled from the pc. I'm guessing in the Curry's situation that there was a filter applied on the pc itself which the guy disabled.
The simplest way around it is to use a proxy, something like anonymouse.org, or subscribe to a VPN service that will bypass the filtering at your ISP completely.
Lightweight like Cameron will go for this in a big way, it's going to make him look good with the voters and aint going to piss off the money men. You wont see him do the same with Tobacco or alcohol because he wont want to piss off his big money backers. there will always be a demand for porn whatever they do. Stop access for kids etc and hammer child porn and the nasty stuff by all means, but don't treat us all like kids Cameron or you will get your ass burned.
I joined http://torguard.net/ (Anonymous VPN - Pro) ages ago cause this will let you watch anything even blocked sites - when you use this not even your ISP can see what your doing.

From what i've read on http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/david...rnet-users
It doesn't look that bad. Asshole Cameron's saying that if people what to see porn they can contact their ISP's & ask them to take the filter of.
As I understand it, the filter will be set to on by your ISP.
It will apply to all PCs/tablets/phones etc connected via your router or 3/4G.

You will be able to turn it off from your PC yourself, if you have access to your online account details at your ISP (which is password protected). This would turn it off for all computers using that account.

Only new accounts would be affected fairly soon with filter default set to on.
Existing accounts would not be affected until next year.
The ISPs will be contacting existing customers to inform them how to turn off/on the filter in their account setup.

You have to opt in to tobacco already, which you can do by going to the shop and buying some cigarettes.

Very trueSadSad
I get my internet through Talk Talk. A few months ago a box popped up asking me if I wanted to set parental controls to on or off. I clicked on the off button and since then have never been asked again. Anything that stops harm or abuse to children is no bad thing as far as I am concerned.
One question however, that needs answering by all these family pressure groups and snivelling politicians is at what point do the parents of little Johnny, alone in his bedroom take responsibility for his actions?
No doubt its too much to expect parents to allow those under age, access to a PC only when they are with them.
It seems very strange that a father, who didn't check on the whereabouts of his own daughter and left her, forgotten in a pub is now trying to tell the rest of us how to behave. The sooner the Tories are ousted the better.
there was a way round it i used it for a time to acess kick ass torrents Wink if you use google.ie translate option and put in the website you want to see and convert from irish to english then the site comes up

not sure if it works will have to take a trip to the pub (merely for research might i add ) later will try it out with the blocked wifi signal Wink

Nobody has to sign anything do they? You just access your account online and change the settings.
