So she's dead, the Iron Lady has finally breathed her last and popped her clogs, she's gone and snuffed it, rejoice people of the world!
There will be plenty false tears, we are all paying the price of Thatcherism.
Firstly, to rejoice at anyone's death is a pretty sad thing to do, I assume you're young or a lefty.

In science there is a think called occums razor, that is, do not overly complicate an explanation.

Britian was a dreadful place in the 70's (I was there) and has been steadily going down the hill since the early 90's, the only time this country, and the living standards in it, where really good was when she was in power. And she knew who to deal with foreign leaders.

She wasn't perfect, who is? But she was and will always be rememebred as a great prime minister.

And a wonderful example to all women.
Those who rejoyce in the death of Mrs T should be ashamed.

I am neither a conservative nor a labour voter. But anyone who studies the history books can be left in no doubt, she was a great leader and Prime minister.

This country was a wreck when she came to power, and she fixed it. You might not like how she did it, but she had the strength to do what was needed.

We were respected worldwide, while she was at the helm.

Those who show no resepect for her passing just show their true colours.
Whatever one's politics I have to say I find rejoicing in anyone's death never mind that of an ex Prime Minister totally distasteful. LR you should be ashamed of yourself.
Sorry, but I'm adding to the condemnation of your thread. To rejoice in a death shows extremely poor taste and a lack of class. This news shouldn't have been reported in this way, regardless of your political standing or opinion of her. I won't waste any more energy typing a reply - maybe you already regret announcing it like that. But you know what we think about it.
What a stupid post at the top, how can you say "rejoice the death" of probably our greatest PM. If i had it my way i would've had her in number 10 for all her life. She was miles better than Blair, Brown and especially that prick David Cameron!
She wasn't my fav PM but never the less its really sad to hear of the news R.I.P.
IF ANY OF THE OTHER PRICKS WOULD OF BEEN IN CHARGE THE ARGIES WOULD BE IN THE FALKLANDS NOWImportant

Nope I'm not - not after the pain that she caused my family when she was in power. I may not have been around, but it doesn't mean that I can't despise the woman for what she did. We're all happy that she has finally passed away.

Besides I'm entitled to an opinion much like anyone else on this board, there will be plenty of people North of the Border who are happy to see her go, Scotland was always her favourite punch bag.
