girls aloud last night announced they have split up. they announced it on their twitter page after their final show of their 10yr anniversary tour

bit of handing over the baton moment now as girls aloud announced the split on the same day as the saturdays were announced as being on the brink of their 1st ever uk no1 being 35,000 clear in this weeks midweek chart and are very likely to get the no1 on sunday

i thought girls aloud still owed their record company a couple of albums..?? so they can't split just yet...........??!!

it's a terrible loss, i don't know how the 'music' business will recover!

to be fair, they couldn't sing, play any instruments or write their own material worth a fuck but they were nice to look at. at least there's still the saturdays!

Actually they could sing exceptionally well, especially Nicole, plus, whether they wrote their stuff or not, they did release some very find pop songs.
