Somebody has put a virus on this thread. Everytime you click Clare Richards caps and videos my antivirus has detected a virus. Therefore I thought I would alert everyone to this just incase somebody may not have an antivirus program running on their computer.

I've downloaded clares latest vids and I didn't get any warning I'm running Norton AntiVirus
Presumably you mean the Caps and Vids thread, yes?

Can you be specific about the page and caps? Posters store caps on several different sites, so it would be good to know which page/caps you mean as that will tell us which site is infected. Thanks.

I am running Eset Smart Security and the minute you click Clares Nightime Caps and Video thread the virus warning comes up straight away and stops me entering due to the virus warning. I know people might have Norton, but believe me Eset has never been wrong yet. A friend of mine got a virus which messed his computer up and he had Norton installed.
I don't think there is a virus on the thread itself. I'm running Mcafee and it will often throw up a blocking page because it has detected anomalous behaviour, or has a risk report about a specific site. What it's often doing however is reacting to an embedded link or to an advert for example, as opposed to the actual target page.

I'll stick my neck out and say that if there was a virus on babeshows itself, I think more than one of the thousands of active users would be affected. It's always good to air virus concerns though! Smile
I agree with Shady. That's a very busy thread, so any problem with it would surely affect more than one member. That thread does link to many other sites though, so there are numerous possibilities as to what caused the warning. Maybe one of the sites that thread links to is currently blacklisted for some reason.
I'll stick my neck out here. On the last page of that thread, the first post is from Barney Stinson, and is an image hosted at at a .cu.cc address.
A quick google and I see a couple reports of Eset flagging a warning for that site.

My guess that's the culprit. As suggested, that site has probably been put on a blacklist used by Eset. Why it is there could be any number of reasons, doesn't mean the site is necessarily harmful. Bear in mind that for some time the likes of Virgin would regularly block access to mediafire because they kept appearing on a blacklist because of a file that was uploaded.
I've been getting that warning for a few weeks now and it's in a bunch of threads. It's the result of the host zip2img.cu.cc and, like percy40, Eset always comes up with a warning, sometimes stopping the page from loading. Before, Chrome was blocking me from entering Mica's thread due to zip2img being labeled a malware threat but that only lasted a couple days. Eset still seems to have a problem with it though. Shame too as I'd like to see what Barney's posting all the time Tongue
I have eset and i encounter the same issue. Is not the the thread it self it's the contents posted into. I often got this message : HTML/Iframe.B.Gen virus sometimes it detects a trojan annoyed
I had a warning of a virus when I was on here last week. I can't remember what thread I was in at the time. Haven't had any problems since though.
