If you like driving games then at the moment Xbone is streets ahead (pun intended) with Horizons 2 and Forza 5 on offer. Most games are better looking on the PS4 so that is usually my main target. On the Xbone I would say Halo Anniversary is fantastic value with great renditions of the original 360 games all on one disc. Besides enhanced versions of the games you also get full access to the Halo channel and access to Halo 5 beta (Today for three weeks). On the PS4 I have been playing Assassins Creed Unity for the last few weeks. Despite a much bug ridden launch (now fixed) I am now finding it to be a brilliant and absorbing game and truly next gen. PES15 is also a much better football game than FIFA 15 once you have tinkered with the team names etc. As previously mentioned Titanfall, Watchdogs, Wolfenstein, COD AW and Inquisition are all worthwhile purchases too.

Hey I passed up on Halo Ani' but I hear you can get into the Halo 5 closed beta if you have it(think beta started a couple of days ago)

Did you get in? If so is it any good?

EDIT: Nevermind saw your comment about it in the other thread lol.
Looks like Nintendo are working on next console codenamed NX but there won't be any news for about year on top of that it looks like they will be working on mobile gaming as well.
Hopefully Nintendo concentrate on a more, well, buyable console this time.

I really hope it has some level of parity with the current gen of consoles, if not superiority over them in terms of tech.

I think the Wii U is proof enough that the gimmicks are not really sure fire money any more and your video game needs a little more about it.
Not sure i agree with Wii U problem was with gimmicks as you only have to look at the Wii with motion controls which some may agrue was a gimmick and at the time wasn't as powerful as the PS3 and 360 but was sucuessful.
The problem with the Wii was it wasn't very marketed very well a lot of people thought it was add for the wii and since then its hard time remember at E3 when it was shown they just had the gamepad and a lot of people were confused and thought that was the actually console, with even tho in the last months its got a better plus Nintendo have always been difficult 3rd companies so they need to change the way they with the them if they want the next console to do well and they work on marketing too.
Am still enjoying my Wii U along side my PS4 and PS3 and am still looking forward to the new games coming to PS4 and Wii U.
think this is nintendo's last real attempt to re establish itself back in the console market. or else it will end up like Segaand atari before it just producing games for the PS4 and Xbox one.

I doubt it will be as there actually making money from there consoles even Wii U didn't sell as well as they hoped, there still making a lot of money from there games and the hand held market and in fact there share have gone up since the news of them going into mobile market and the new console its like there in problems with how Sega or Atari were who both run out of money Nintendo are financial sound and actually have 812.8 billion Yen (£6.7/$10.5 billion) in the bank.
Sony themselves are actually losing money because of no one is buying there electronics like mobiles, Tv's etc etc and there already sold off there computers division and they've also down scaled the amount of people working at there different first part developers like Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studio. The only reason why they are not in financial is because the PS4 has been success but with everything else there losing money, facts and figures don't lie:

BACKWARDS COMPATABILITY IS HERE Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

OFF to the shops, may be in autumn.
It wasn't because it was actually true how it works is whether you have the digital copy of the game a physical copy it downloads a digital copy of the game which they don't charge you again for unlike Sony and it only works if the other companies allow there games to do that or if the actually companies are still around. All in all good move by Microsoft.
At the moment you can't put any old game in there only 20 games allow this happen and more will be like that as time goes on.

It seems to be a firmware update which is a new soft ware. Basically it's an emulator, they scan the 360 games which you can then down load to the xbox later. I think you still need your discs and you keep your achievements.

Yes, there are license issuues, they are aiming for the big hitter games and add others as and when, so you'll not be alble to play ALL your old 360 games.

But it certianly will get more people buying the x box one, same with giving a game away once a month with gold.
