Rar files aren't playable. They're a compressed file, similar to a zip file. So, you need to use extraction software. I'm guessing you use a PC? An application such as

Skateguy is a master at this, but I've found that if you download 7zip, HJSplit & VLC media player you should be able to watch just about anything on your pc - its all open source so free software:
