England are set to play New Zealand in back to back series & start the Tour officially on the 9th of Feb with the 1st of 3 t20 matches followed by 3 ODI's & 3 Tests before England are the hosts at the start of a busy International season.
England beat New Zealand by 40 runs in the 1st T20.They scored their highest T20 total 214-7,in reply New Zealand made 174-9.
Good performances all round by England.

Excellent batting, tight balling and they held their catches... Eoin Morgan's catch which saw the end of Brendon McCullum ( a superb back-pedalling catch over his right shoulder) was forever memerable.
Whereas New Zealand had 5 dropped catches
2nd T20 Nz Bt England by 55 run
Nz 192-6 B McCullum 74
Eng 137 all out Butler 54
England lost far too many wickets early on and the game was dead after about 10 overs of the England innings Sad.
Very poor.
Today's match was lost when we won the toss and said that we would ball.

It left New Zealand with the best batting conditions and our batsmen facing a swinging ball in twilight conditions...

Broad & Giles got it badly wrong Sad
bad day at the crease for the boys today, however to win the toss and bowl in a night game was suicidal in this form of the game.
England win the deciding match by 10 wickets
NZ 139-8 Guptill 59 Broad 3-15
Eng !43-0 Hales 80 no. Lumb 53 no.

It didn't stop England winning today and by 10 wickets too and with 7.2 overs to spare.
A brave decision all the same by Broad, honest enough in the last match to admit that they read the pitch wrong.
