I'm still using my trusty Phillips 32" CRT widescreen which I bought in 1999! A huge beast but still working well. It will be a shame to get rid of it but I think the time has finally come to migrate to HD. (I'm not what you would call an early adopter )
Having said that, I do have a superb Humax Freeview HD PVR so I'd like to use that to its full potential.
The preferred spec would be a screen size of around 42 inches, 3D ready and internet-capable so that I can use various IPTV apps on it.
Can any of you recommend a particular model of TV? I think I'll go for LCD or LED rather than plasma, with the emphasis being on the best possible picture quality. I'm not too bothered about the audio as I live in a flat and can't crank up the volume anyway.
Internet connectivity is important as I think this will continue to develop, with more and more TV channels (including the babe channels) transmitting via IPTV apps as well as Freeview and satellite.
Thanks in advance.
