Tough match for England.
England have picked their established team and are still not including Finn who I believe is Englands best bowler.
The match will start 15 minutes late due to rain, but England have won the toss and will bat.
Strauss lasted just 4 balls before beginning given out LBW for 0.

On commentary David Gower said, " Strauss won the toss this morning and decided to bat, which about is the only thing he's done today".
Cruel David, cruel.

England are currently 133-1
Cook & Trott doing what they do best, churning the runs out.Just what was required after Strauss going early.
Day 1 Eng 267-3 Cook 114 no. Trott 71 Pietersen 42.Morkel 2-44. Latest 272-5 Cook 115 Bopara 0.Both wickets to Steyn.South Africa fight back.
Bopara should never be playing for England.
Day 2 Close - Eng 385 all out. South Africa 86-1

Day 3 Close - South Africa 403-2 Smith 131 Amla 183 no. Kallis 82 no. Lead Eng by 18 runs.

Quite an visionary post this. The much vaunted pace attack looks quite benign on this flat surface. Bresnan does not have enough bite for me gets the nod over Finn because of his batting. Swann has been looking not the same bowler for a while. Time to consider a Panesar return to shake him up a bit. That said SA bat so slowly I think we will bat out the match. They are just ahead and will look to bat until Tea tomorrow with a track not doing much.
