Definately The Pad. I lipread her, it was pretty easy to be honest which makes a change but I had to watch a boring hour of nothing before hand.

I wouldn't be 100% sure relying on lip reading to be honest. It isn't always perfectly clear what people are saying and sometime watching the shows, you see what you want them to be saying rather than what they're actually saying.
