I dont think the majority really cares how many reps they have(excluding that member pm'ing for reps
). But if you notice a member that frequently makes posts you enjoy/thank than its an easy courtesy to rep them. Ive always seen Reps as just an extension of the "thankyou" system. Now imagine how many people would be up in arms if people stopped thanking the cappers.

Whether someone decides to give someone else a rep is all down to their opinion. I don't think there should be a rigid set of rules. And the amount of posts they have, how long they've been here shouldn't matter at all.
Someone with one post could say something hilarious or insightful, and 10 people give them reps for that. Or they could post a sweet video or some great pictures, doesn't matter.
Point is, it's all down to opinions and the perceived quality of a post, whether it's someones 10,000th or their 1st.

If If I'm honest I don't have or ever felt the need for a wank sock.Didn't know what one was until I started mixing with the depraved degenerates on here.Up until that point I'd led a pure & clean life.
