^^^ i think nicks mum is a proper grimm who hates and kills monsters indiscriminately, or by order of the royal families. nicks the one who's different. i think something will happen to change her mind and she'll come around to his way of thinking.
i think nick's mum is trying to escape the royal family and i hope near the end of the season joins nick and hank in preventing a war that tear the world apart.
i can see grimm going to 10 season and maybe more has there so many folklore to call upon also they can do their own thing with grimm.

renard is a prince hence why he was able, help from a potion, to bring juliette from her coma and have an obession with her like the story of sleeping beauty. he is half a royal, his father had an affair with an hexenbiest. he is half reaper royal and half hexenbiest.
ep 12 is a "game changer" episode, the 2nd half of season 2 could be great with some amazing twists.
