A few stats following today's FA Cup Final won by Chelsea:

Didier Drogba became the first player to score in 4 different FA Cup Finals.

John Terry became the first player to captain a club to 4 FA Cup wins.

Ashley Cole beat his own record for FA Cup wins as a player, setting a new mark of 7 wins (3 with Arsenal, 4 with Chelsea).

This was the first final since 1989 in which both managers had previously won the cup as a player (Roberto di Matteo and Kenny Dalglish).

In winning the Cup Roberto di Matteo became the 16th winning manager to have also won the cup as a player. Kenny Dalglish is one of the other 15.

Roberto Di Matteo became the 3rd Italian manager in a row to win the FA Cup following Carlo Ancelotti in 2010 and Roberto Mancini last year.
No goalkeeper has won more FA Cup's then Petr Cech

True - but when Man City win the title next week, they'll be another team to have won it and have been relegated previously.

How times have changed over the last decade - Blackburn's fortunes plummeted and City's very much on the way back.

Only Van Persie, Rooney and Aguero scored more Premier League goals in season 2011/12 than Blackburn's Yakubu. With 17 goals he was the second highest goalscorer ever for a club relegated from the Premier League, beaten only by Andy Johnson who scored 21 for Crystal Palace when relegated in 2004/05.
