The amount Sophia is campaigning for people to vote for her, in a meaningless contest, makes me regret voting for her
I kind of like it that she's gotten so involved and it seems that, for whatever reason, this means something to her.

I agree with Scotsman. You should be glad that she's taking an interest. And I say that even though I haven't voted for her, because it's nice to see Sophia taking an interest. PS - Both girls were in my original top 10 choices.
I thought this was just a bit of fun, but thinking about it I guess this is the only type of award/contest the babes are involved with in a babe channel sense. And voted by the devoted who watch them day in day out, as well as fellow peers now even. So I guess it really could mean something to some of them, after all they spend a lot of hours in their lives doing it.

And big credit to Scotsman for going through the trouble. I admit it was more engaging than I thought it would be.
A lot of times on here I see people moan that the girls take little or no active interest in the forum except when they see something that really upsets them.

I seem to recall Caty reacted to the news of winning last year with a tweet along the lines of 'oh did I win again?'
and then followed it up with a nice post on here. Which was fine. And very graceful.

But voting aside, speaking as a regular forum contributor it's refreshing to me that we have a finalist who's so openly excited by it all.

Fair enough, but I just think it becomes pointless when she's constantly barraging people on her forum, her forum section on here and twitter with 'vote me etc' ....makes it meaningless if she only wins because she's begging for votes, but maybe that's just me Smile
I feel a bit sorry for Sophia, last round she pretty much had people trying to dismiss her winning due to her been on freeview and I guess if she wins the final it'll be dismissed due to her getting involved and reminding people to vote.

It's also worth noting that alot of Caty fans will follow Sophia on twitter aswell so in the end Caty will be benefiting from the 'begging' aswell
Caty's deleted her Twitter, she said it was because people kept trying to get her to reply to tweets and she was too busy with her uni work.
props to Sophia for taking the time to try and win this,
it's such a british reaction not to get behind someone who wants to win something,
so fair play to you Sophia keep it up Big Grin
Anyone in any poll-based competition tries to persuade people to vote for them so I suppose this is no different. Sophia has had a hard ride in this tournament with the treatment she got in the previous round from some unfortunate Dannii Harwood stalker and now in this round she's being slated for caring.
