True Stories is always worth watching on a Tuesday night - intelligent telly for a change.
I watched this last night,if you are feeling sorry for yourself right now i urge you to do the same.

I found myself watching with tears running down my cheeks,i've said this before but the Japanese people are so dignified even in such dire circumstances.

Just watched this on line, the next time there is some doddery old guy maybe holding you up he could have been one of these guys.

Brilliant documentary.

Watching these young Japanese children you get a real sense why Japan is such a great nation.

They are so disciplined and dignified,i could never imagine there ever being the equivalent of The Jeremy Kyle show in Japan.

It was very hard to watch at times, but once again it puts things into perspective.
If you like a good documentary watch PBS. Mostly on American themes but the quality is always high. Watched one about the bloke who popularised lobotomies this afternoon - absolutely fascinating stuff.
A great insight into Woody Guthries life, and what it was like to live in his times.
